What it’s for

01-planning holds the product-level thinking: the Platform PRD (what the product is and isn't) and a Feature PRD per feature. It's where direction is set before any code is written.

What’s in it

Platform PRD

The strategic anchor. One per product; every Feature PRD inherits from it.

Feature PRD

A living document, one per feature. Evolves as you build — never frozen.

How it fits

The top of the Cascade. Feature PRDs inherit from the Platform PRD, and each Feature PRD spawns the Prompt Briefs that live in 02-working.

Adaptive, not fixed. This is a starting shape. Add folders and templates as your project needs them — the structure should serve the work, not the other way round.
